Trifecta Of Tyrants The North African Two Step

Assad
President Barack Obama and Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan agreed to an ultimatum for Syrian President Bashar Assad to recall his military and end the killing within 15 days. The August 27th deadline also includes the implementation of democratic reforms, restoring the rule of law and satisfying the demands of the Syrian people demonstrating in the popular uprising against his autocratic Nazi regime. The Ultimatum was agreed to by Obama after a video conference by Erdogan detailing the report compiled by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. The report outlined the six-hour meeting Davutoglu had with Assad August 9th.

During the meeting Assad hoodwinked the Turk by convincing him that he would put an end to the revolting citizens in in 10 to 15 days if he was left unhampered. Assad assured Davutoglu that after the uprising was concluded that political reforms and free elections with full opposition participation would be instituted. Obama and Erdogan decided to take Assad at his word and trust him “one last time”, reneging would bring the wrath of the combined military forces of Turkey and the United States down upon him in a ground operation. The Assad regime has a fifty year history of lying and deceiving, the president and prime minister ignoring this fact will allow hundreds of people a day to be killed. With Assad given a free hand the atrocities committed by the states storm troopers will be covered up by murdering members of humanitarian organizations documenting the carnage. The next 15 days may be the bloodiest since the demonstrations begun 5 months ago.

White House leeks revealed that President Obama was briefed on F.M. Davutoglu's report and six main topics were discussed. Assad convinced Davutoglu of the following.
  • The demonstration would be over in 10 to 15 days.
  • Sporadic protests will probability continue til the end of the year.
  • To keep the uprisings to a minimum he will institute the reforms called for by the citizens.
  • Assad offered Davutoglu evidence that Islamic extremists, the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda were behind the demonstrations and that if he did not take care of the problem now then the uprisings would spread to Turkey. For this reason he asked for Turkey's indulgence.
  • Assad needed promises that NATO or the Turkish government would not use Syria for military operations against Iran
  • In an attempt to offer an olive branch Assad opined that through the Turks and Americans he would help in replacing Iranian influence with Turkeys in Iraq.
If you are to believe any of these talking points then your turban is to tight. This is obviously a smoke screen designed to delay the inevitable and to allow Assad to get his ducks in a row in terms of allied support from Iran, Hamas and Iraqi Baathists. Assad is relying on the inexperience of the Obama and Erdogan administrations to believe his assertion that he is helping eradicate terrorists. President Obama and Prime Minister Erdogan are not the brightest stars on the world stage but with the documented body count topping 2400 the leaders realize that something must be done.
Meshaal

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has now changed her tune from “Assad the reformer” to "Well, I think we've been very clear in what we have said about his loss of legitimacy." Clinton is now stating that US policy is predicated on the statements of China, Brazil and India in her so called “chorus of international condemnation." Clinton's spineless and gutless statements ring hollow in a Middle East that is dominated by blood thirsty masochistic dictators willing to torture, rape and dismember men, women and children in the public squares as a deterrent to dissenters. Obama and Clinton can not even bring themselves to publicly say that Assad must go. They would rather join a “international Chorus” singing that Assad has “lost legitimacy to lead his people.”

Obama must be ignorant of the fact that when Erdogan interceded in the Iranian uranium e
nrichment program a year ago the same players China, Brazil and India left him high and dry. This has left the Erdogan administration impotent in the eyes of Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is Assad's BFF. Assad is also spooning with Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal who he keeps safe and sound in Damascus. This trifecta of tyrants all have one thing in common there intense hatred of Israel and the United States. This buffer zone operation that The Turks are planing for humanitarian reasons will encompass more than just the twenty plus miles bordering Turkey. The unintended consequences are fare reaching and it will involve the lives of many people and potentially numerous nations. At the border Turkish army reservists have been called up to deal with a new wave of Syrian refugees and farm animals prior to air operations. If the White House was willing to release satellite reconnaissance photographs we would see devastation not witnessed since the bombing of Hitler's Germany in WWII. The 15 day cooling off period requested by Assad and agreed to by Obama and Erdogan may be enough time for the storm troopers blitzkrieg to Finnish off the city of Hama.

Ahmadinejad
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev warned Assad he faced a "sad fate" if he failed to introduce reforms, Moscow's envoy to NATO Dmitry Rogozin accused the Western alliance of planning a military campaign against Syria to help overthrow the Assad regime "with the long-reaching goal of preparing a beachhead for an attack on Iran." Rogozin added: "This statement means that the planning is well underway. It could be a logical conclusion of those military and propaganda operations, which have been carried out by certain Western countries against North Africa." Meaning the U.S. is targeting Iran through Syria drawing Israel into the fight. Medvedev repeatedly voiced his concerns as Assad continued his onslaught against the cities of Hama and Deir el-Zour. The Ramadan campaign against the Syrian people prompted Medvedev to comment. "We are watching how the situation is developing. It's changing and our approach is changing as well." the Russians believe that Turkey is giving the United States the legitimacy to a North African invasion. This invasion is a precursor to the elimination of Iran and total petroleum domination. Rogozin also said he agreed with the opinion that Syria and later Yemen could be NATO's last steps on the way to launching an attack on Iran. And that the noose around Iran is tightening," he said. "Military planning against Iran is underway. And we are certainly concerned about an escalation of a large-scale war in this huge region." The Russians wanted to make it crystal clear that that they knew what was afoot and that Moscow is fully updated on the next American military steps in the Middle East and Persian Gulf.
